[Failed] inkscape native on N900
I spent the last 10 hours trying to compile inkscape for the N900,
After hundreds of small changes it did compile but the linker spat out a truckload of errors. Then I saw this http://maemomm.garage.maemo.org/docs...l/ch04s02.html (Last paragraph) so that means that I have to make some hundreds of more changes... I don't know I feel kind of betrayed. I give up for now, maybe another time I'm going to try it again... |

Re: [Failed] inkscape native on N900
It's not the compilers problem its the bleeping handicapped version of gtkmm in fremantle. I have to change all events everywhere. Also I have to do all the work I've already done again on the 0.49 branch as it has moved off deprecated gtk elements (which fremantle doesn't support)
Maybe I'll try with some preprocessor magic to avoid adding a function parameter to every file-handling function in the whole code... |

Wouldn't it be possible to build GTK3 for Fremantle and then use it for these kind of applications?
