nokia n900 not showing sms or chat in conversations?

If someone sends sms or chat, it will notify me and displays the content, but soon as I click on it, it will take me to Conversations, but there is nothing there.

How can I fix this issue. Messages are there, I can see it in Nokia Ovi Suite and Nokia PC Suite. But the phone's Conversation app is not displaying the content. This happens for all SMS and IM Chat messages.

Someone please help!

I had the same problem when I bought my n900. At first I tried to erase the database file, but that didn't solve the issue. I must say I don't remember exactly what was the solution, but it had something to do with the theme used to display the messages in Conversations.
Anyway, I found to solution on the web, so it must still be somewhere :)

I fixed the problem. Solution:

rm -rf /home/user/.mozilla/rtcom

then restared the phone and started the Conversation App.

All works fine now.
