mounting mmc-mobile in os x
 

I'm unable to mount a mmc-mobile 2gb (kingston) using a card reader in OSX 10.4.10. No extra mounts appear when I issue the "df" command at the command line. Disk Utility hangs.

Connecting the nokia770 with the card in it to the mac using a USB cable also doesn't work. Nokia770 pops up the usb icon in the top-right status bar but still no mounts in OS X.

I remember I formatted the card using FAT32 awhile ago. The card does work in the nokia770. I'm also using the card as extended virtual memory.

anybody have any hints for solving this?
