PR1.2 Data connection stays on even when background connections are off!
 

I think this is another bug. Very frustrating. When i Turn my phone on in the morning or when I use the internet either from WiFi or the network I notice the logo stays on! and the only way to get rid of it is to go to and from flight mode or to turn connections off and then back on again!

The whole point of turning background connections off was to save on battery life!

This doesnt always happen, but enough to be annoying?

PR1.1 was fine then it broke in PR1.2

got bug submitted on this one..try check at bugzilla

Try to set power save mode to on. I have this set and auto-disconnect works on my N9.

I have the power save mode on at 30% otherwise the phone runs normally! I have never noticed it causing issues in the last 30%

Might give this a go only it must be a bug as it should disconnect in normal mode too
