Thanks for the post.

Can we have an installer package like for the nitdroid? I have tried shr's uboot kernel many times and it always failed on me... this would increase the shr population in n900 water significantly... i can certainly help to test again, if the installation is eased up.

Why did you have to remove it? I was three-quarters of the way through the instructions, refreshed the page and...gone...

well some people here get bothered because of im posting old things and ask to remove my threads that i take it from another forums plz refer to the NOKIA N900 BLOG if you really want it:D

is SHR even useful? i saw a video showing it and it seemed pretty cool, but i have no idea how functional it is

I tested it. SHR seems to be functional, but I couldn't get the phone or 3G to work even after copying the firmware, and the interface is pretty poorly designed IMHO. It works, but it's utilitarian, not something I would show off to other people.
