usb OTG on ?? Nokia N9 and Indoor positioning with ‘White Spaces’ from Nokia Research Centre
From MNB :
Here’s a video from Nokia demonstrating a 3 year project in the Imperial War Museum, Cambridge. This project uses something called TV ‘white spaces’ for indoor positioning. This particular technology is not yet ready to go mobile, as you need a small suitcase for the radio. However, there are many other possible implementations for indoor positioning, some of which Nokia has already demonstrated done purely from phones. This one reuses spectrum (no paying auction fees to use), improved internet access (not sure why) and allows for new services. The video : http://m.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&hl=...&v=er2Um3UqOvg The thing is on that N9 usb on the go is enabled because that black box is connected to the N9 via usb . So we know nokia have it . Why they wouldn't released it ? |

Er... no offence but that sounds suspiciously like a religious argument....
I saw this happen, I can't explain it, therefore <outrageous claim goes here>. Do you actually know that they had to use usb otg in order to connect to that black box? Surely all you can say for a fact is that they connected that radio to the N9 via its usb slot, as far as usb otg, based on that video we really know nothing of the sort, just saying. |

It can be connected in the same way SDK mode works, doesn't mean it is USB-OTG...
