Or just install FasterN9. It gives better memory management and longer battery life for N9. So far no glitch with app. And don't forget to uninstall dropcache before installing.

Maybe:
swapoff -a swapon -a |
Re: How can free up the swap memory?
Faster N9 . It made a difference to my N9. I did not notice much with Dropcache.

Re: How can free up the swap memory?
As root
/sbin/swapoff -a /sbin/swapon -a |
Re: How can free up the swap memory?
I notice that 10-15 days after reboot my N9 feels not as responsible and fluid as usual and swap memory is full like 75%. I try to free swap but usual linux commands swapoff/on do not work. Swap remains occupied. And I am executing swapoff both as users and root.
Any ideas? |
Re: How can free up the swap memory?
I have asked some people on Twitter , unfortunately its unable to reset, but maybe we can change the swappiness of our n9
as root /sbin/sysctl -w vm.swappiness=15 just an idea, :| |
