[Fixed] apt-get problem(?) during FB fix.
Hello all, I have applied the fix to the facebook upload & widget problem. Although the fix has cured the problem, I noticed the following messages during the process:-
Code:
sudo apt-get autoremove Code:
sudo apt-get update No problems with device but I would really like to clear up these errors if possible. Can anyone help please? I have run apt-get update repeatedly... Thanks in anticipation... |
Re: apt-get problem(?) during FB fix.
For the autoremove error: Is the qtm-maemo-metapackage package needed by some other application you installed???
If yes, try to reinstall it Code:
sudo gainroot Those warnings are not that important,. just warnings. The first is a wrong Distribution name in one of your repositories. I do not remember exactly, but it should be just 'fremantle' for extras-testing and extras-devel, while it is fremantle-1.3 for the extras repository. The second is a result of a erroneous 'Provides'-line. There is nothing you could do against this error |
Re: apt-get problem(?) during FB fix.
Thanks, corrected the repo, removed (purged) qtm-maemo-metapackage
and reinstalled. Then autocleaned, no errors, no errors in apt-get update. many thanks. Richard. |
