[solved] Major reflash c**kup?
Hello, for reasons I wont bore you with, I had to do my first reflash today.
I downloaded these:- RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2.203.1_PR_COMBINED_203_ARM.bin And flasher-3.5. I flashed 'combined' ok & then went on to flash 'vanilla'. Due to the fact I was distracted (and that I am a blithering idiot) I flashed the 'combined' again, complete with the -R (restart) option, so n900 rebooted after 'combined' flash, I understand this is not good. Then flashed 'vanilla'. All messages said 'successful'. Device now wont boot. Questions: 1) Have I totally bricked it? (If yes then 2) 2) Why (I know I cocked up, but why cant it be fixed?). |
Re: Major reflash c**kup?
I have done the same a few months ago. But I remember that merely removing the battery, putting it back in and then re-flashing it in the correct order helped.
Does your device not respond even to a wall charger? Just try once removing the battery and popping it back in. |
