Micro SD Flash Media Card Limit
What is largest size flash media card that can be used with micro sd card slot that is built into my Nokia n900,
Are there limitations on micro SD flash media card capacity using Maemo 5? Any clues appreciated. Please help. Thank you. |

I've heard reports of MicroSDXC cards of 64GB working fine, and I assume when 128GB cards hit the market they'll also be supported.

IIR somebody / several people tested 64GB microSDXC cards successfully.

Suppose to support MicroSDHC (32GB Max) but people have tested 64GB microSDXC cards as above.
I am still waiting for a 64GB SDXC UHS-1 to arrive to confirm compatability. Please see the wiki for all tested cards. |

I am using a Sandisk 64GB microSDXC (SDSDQU-064G-U46A) in my N900 and it works fine!

I curently runing microSDXC 64 Gb made by SanDisk, so now have 90 Gb on my primary N900.
Didn't work straight away, so first : Code:
dmesg | grep -i 'mmc' Then following the advice on TMO (Thanked for that already): THAT WILL SWIPE ALL DATA FROM THAT CARD Code:
mkfs. vfat /dev/mmcblk1p1 |
