need help: unable screen rotation?
 

Hi community!

Is there an easy way (app?) to unable screen rotation? I would need this because when I use my N9 on my motorbike for navigation a jumping/rotating screen is´nt tricky. Thx in advance. Hannes

The first question is: how are you enabling screen rotation now? Do you use an app or N9QuickTweaks or some other mod? If you don't have any modifications or landscape enabling apps, then screen orientation is generally handled by the individual app you are in or it is portrait by default.

Home Screen Settings is an app that may work for you. Here is a page that has info: http://vesuri.jormas.com/homescreensettings/

The app is available for download from the OVI store, and it locks orientation, just search for "home screen settings". If you use another orientation program, then be sure to check for any compatibility issues prior to install, since I think that there may be conflicts between this program and N9QuickTweaks. Check the forum. If you've only installed apps from the OVI store, then you should be fine.

My BabyLock app is also able to lock orientation on applications http://store.ovi.com/content/229580

Trial version here http://store.ovi.com/content/243116 (so you can test if its able to lock the orientation on the app that you want).
