Connectivity Issues with N900

Version - 21.2011.38-1.205.1

Had my N900 for a couple of months now, everything is running great except for a couple of small things. If anyone has a fix for these that would be great.

1. Facebook sharing account. I cannot verify my facebook sharing account. I am connected to my home network via WIFI but when trying to verify my FB account, I get an error.

"No network connection. Operation cancelled"

I have reinstalled the FB app numerous times and tried both my email address and facebook chat address without any luck.

However Facebook chat on N900 work great.

2. PC connectivity. I cannot connect my phone to my Laptop.

Im running windows 7. I have tried many versions of PC suite and OVI suite. I have tried 2 USB cables, without any luck. When I connect the phone via USB the phone asks me for PC suite mode or mass storage. I have tried both modes but the PC doesnt find the phone at all.

I only want to transfer my photos from the phone to the PC and put some music onto the phone. Not to bothered about about sync etc.

BLUETOOTH????
