Minicom and strange problem with ENTER key
Hi,
I have a device USB CDC, so in my N900 there is a ttyACM0. I'm using last version of minicom on Maemo: 2.4-rc1. When I try to comunicate with my device ENTER key doesn't work, It print OM on the screen. All other keys works (also backspace) I tried with shell in SSH from my PC and works very well PC -> SSH N900 -> Minicom N900 -> Device ttyACM0 OK Keyboard N900 -> Minicom N900 -> Device ttyACM0 KO I see environment TERM is always xterm. I have problem with exit from minicom, CTRL + A + X Leave minicom? [ YES ] [ NO ] when I give ENTER key on YES, come back to minicom and I can't exit. Suggestions? Thank you |
Re: Minicom and strange problem with ENTER key
Don't have the reference at hand, but N900's handling of the RETURN key is broken (by design).
You can either install the whole CSSU (whatever flavor) or replace stock libvte with the one from CSSU (just grab the .deb from the cssu repo and dpkg it). |

Does Ctrl+M work?

Re: Minicom and strange problem with ENTER key
Thank you both solutions works.
I updated libvte4 and libvte-common from here http://repository.maemo.org/communit...le/free/v/vte/ so RETURN key is now working, but also with previous version Ctrl+M was working. |
