CMT Flashing failed and All Telephony Functions Disabled
 

first i got this error on my nokia n900 at its 1 year age

All Telephony Functions Disabled

then i reflashed d phone and got this error

CMT Flashing failed
using flasher 3.5 and also with phoenix

sent my phone to nokia care center twice
even they r not able to fix it


any solutions ????????

All the posts you have ever made here relate to this same problem.

It's a hardware fault. If Nokia have told you they can't fix it then just accept that. It's dead jim. Your phone will not communicate with the SIM card.

Find some other use for your beloved N900 that doesn't involve any phone or mobile data connection.

actually this happened with me before then i flashed again after another reflash :) then it works ! even my friend's one had the same issue and flashed it again and the problem solved again :P

when i tried this, CMT flashing failed...

how do you flash cmt only not the cmt only with 1gb bin file

If you want to stop the annoying "Telephony disabled" notice place a "#" symbol at the beginning of "start on started dbus" in /etc/event.d/sscd.

Saves a tiny amount battery life and it seems to speed the little units up a fraction.
