Re: catalog fail

Repository lists are from time to time corrupted in Hildon Application Manager, but the error messages simply are falsely suggesting something else.

Did you try to reboot?

Re: catalog fail

There might some kind of confusion. I wrote about the application manager on the n900. There might be more info in the log of the application manager.
I was not talking about some windows application, like nokia software updater, which i have no experience with at all.
Please try to clarify, what sort of application on which platform you are using.

Your command of English has improved, just saying did you change translater.

best thing to do is reflash your device start again from new, you will find guides on how to if you search ;)

Re: catalog fail

The database of Hildon Application Manager (HAM) gets sometimes corrupted, but a reboot of the phone might just clear the database.
After reboot start application manager and try to refresh the catalogs. If an error occurs, try to look at the log/protocol in the upper menu bar of HAM. You might even save the log and attach it here to the next post for others to check for any clues, what is going on.
