nokia n900 showing offline mode
 

hello frnds... m new here... ma nokia n900 is not showing operator name and signals after it slipped from ma hand... its not in offline mode but it shows a symbol like that... i can make and recieve calls but cant send or recieve messages now... anybody plz help me... :(

i dont know if this will work but you can try this command in terminal :
killall hildon-status-menu

and be careful next time because losing an N900 is a disaster these days :p

problem not solved yet.... still after rebooting the prblm remains same... :(

opps ! and did it work again if you retyped that command ? i dont know if a reflash maybe required !
