USB auto disconnects?
Hi, my N900 auto disconnect its usb.
I was trying to backup the phone and its sdcard, to my computer. Have done the same thing before. Via usb -conneting. BUT, it auto disconnect after a while. Lots I/O errors. Only believe SSU have bean updated on the phone. Also, was trying ssh accessing it. On my computer I was trying: "rsync -av -e ssh root@xx.xx.xx:/ ." BUT, error "remote command not found". I cant change folder to "/" in this case.. also tested another sftp app on my computer, "gftp". But it only worked 1 folder at a time, and hang on some of mysterious resounds. Any hint? thx. |

Re: USB auto disconnects?
hello again, I was checking my dmesg -log on the phone N900. After an auto disconnect, past some of its output in this message.
filesystem apears tobe currupt  then, howto check filesystem (fsck.. only work on unmounted partition. Dono if tunefs work. Any hint? (sent from the phone) Code:
[ 3393.077606] kb_lock (GPIO 113) is now open |
Re: USB auto disconnects?
mmcbkl1 is the SD card
Is the back cover on? Does the back cover sensor work in dmesg? Have you tried backing up only N900? |
Re: USB auto disconnects?
Yea, it is the SDcard. Wanto recall I got the same result from /MyDocs.
I tested "tune2fs -c 1 /dev..." (only a device called mmcblk0p1, mounted on "/home" was modifiable.. this doesnt include /MyDocs) will reboot. check SD on a stcik on another computer.. |
