Nokia 770 media player not playing
 

Hi all, I have recently purchased a Nokia 770 which Im happy with.

I installed the OS2007 HE as soon as I got it and added pidgin messenger no problems.

After using more of the functions I have found the media player will not play any clips including the in-built N73 clip. The application starts up and then does nothing.

I have done a search but I have found no information

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I know this isn't the topic of your post but you mentioned you got pidgin to work no problems. i also have a 770 and it is running 2007he and i cannot get pidgin to allow me to type in the chat screens. when i go to type something the keyboard wont pop up

At one point, my 770 stopped playing audio. Onscreen it indicated that it was playing but... no sound. I fixed it by reflashing.

Not an identical problem, but an indicator that parts of the OS can, apparently, get munged and disable some functionality.

but the keyboard pops up in other programs, just not in pidgin
