Updated Telepathy for GTalk Voice and Video calls
June 2011, Google changed their protocol for video and voice calls. Our N900s were no longer able to make video and voice calls.
Our phones use the telepathy framework that Gnome uses so upstream development has continued to fix the standards change that Google made. I have been able to compile the fixes into libraries for our N900s. You can now see the option of video/voice calls on contacts. The one catch is that video and voice calls do not work reliably. I have had little success with video calls and mild success with voice calls. I cannot spend any more time on this so I'm putting up the binaries and source code for someone else to poke at. I posted my problem to the Telepathy mailing list with a call for help but received no response. This is the last version that works with the telepathy mission control library on our phones. I have backported many of the GTalk fixes to this library. http://www.4shared.com/file/Gtv0lQjk...-0maemo30.html Gabble 0.9.16 Modified Source http://www.4shared.com/file/kQyZKAzq...-0maemo30.html http://www.4shared.com/archive/-xQp_...-0maemo30.html http://www.4shared.com/archive/dm2n8...16origtar.html |
