Assembly LCD and Touch Digitizer
 

hi guys,

is there a special trick to assembly the lcd and the touch digitizer?
i assembled it for many times, but only the lcd screen works but no touch response! the components are all brand new!

i am very depressed :(

Is it a proper touch screen or one of those cheap crappy ones?, and did you connect the tiny connector between screen and LCD that goes into the flat cable that goes from the LCD to Motherboard?

the components are all from nokia! all cables should be connected!
but i suspect a trick with the tiny connector, i tried it many times with different methods without success :(

i had same problem, water damaged motherboard...

motherboard is fine! i tested it with a good lcd!

it shouldn't be anything wrong with them, try other digitizer :)
low right edge of digitizer sometimes can be issue because there can be louse wires or something though

at the pictures you can see TWO different lcd with TWO different digitizer! both screens are new, it must be my fault?!

see that black plug on white connector? that thing goes up-down. when it's down digitizer cable is locked but when it's up it's unlocked, turn it up and try to plug cable of digitizer little bit more inside, i don't see anything else that could cause any problem...

hmm don't know what the problem is, when i measure from the digitizer cable to the connector to the slider, the connection lcd <-> digitizer is fine
