No longer stylus-friendly?
 
Brand new 770. Seemed to be OK until today. Switched it on. Scroll key seems to work - but the tablet won't respond to the stylus.

Is it dud - or have I missed something please? Search on stylus doesn't seem to produce my question!

I'd say recalibrate the screen but thats kinda hard to do if you cant navigate to the screen calibrator. Plop the battery out and back in, or do a reset with the little button on the bottom, maybe reflash the os. If none of that works you might have a dead digitizer in your screen.

Which little button? Do you mean the tiny hole next to charger connector? That's the microphone, not a reset button.
