Cannot request to be a maintainer
 
Hi,

I uploaded automake1.11, and I want to be the maintainer (AapoRantalainen uploaded some tries and he's displayed as the maintainer).
I click "request to be the maintainer", then the confirmation page displays. I click "confirm" and the page just reloads. The package page doesn't show anything about maintainer request.
Why is it happening this way?

After clicking "confirm" for another package I got the following message:

Edit: After visiting the package overview page again now, I noticed there is a 'Pending maintainer requests' displayed. Package is 'mtr-tiny'.

@marmistrz: Any luck with your package?

It's been a week and mine still shows 'pending maintainer request'.
Would somebody bump my uploaded package to extras-testing please?

It has been two weeks since I submitted my maintainer request for mtr-tiny and it still shows pending.

What can I do now?
