GPE-Contact and E-mail Client
Hi.
Is there any way to force the built-in e-mail client to use GPE-Contacts, instead of the built-in contact manager, to pull out contact information when composing e-mail? I'd like to use GPE-Contact instead of the built-in one because the latter does not allow you to enter physical mailing addresses. Any help would be appreciated! Dai |
Re: GPE-Contact and E-mail Client
Dont think youll find any way possible to do that. But i totally agree that nokia totally dropped the ball on features such as this. The contacts on the n800 should be almost exactly like gpe but with a few minor differences. Such as skype integration , ability to make links to webpages

Re: GPE-Contact and E-mail Client
Well, once Nokia releases the sources via SVN then someone will be able to make those changes on their own.
Of course, that's when we all get access to the sources.... |
Re: GPE-Contact and E-mail Client
There is a more powerfull contact app named 'Contacts' that use the nokia contact application database available on the same repository as Date.
