Ridiculously high battery consumption

Installed homescreen settings - already uninstalled it. Battery levels now show this (battery usage is the only app running):

Avg. Current Consumption: 69mAh
Avg. Active Consumption: 196mAh
Avg. Idle Consumption: 52mAh

Looks like it was all Homescreen settings, will see in the morning. Probably the values will have averaged out by then.

The "starfield" background in Home Screen Settings seems to consume a lot. I notice a significant increase from 10ma to 30ma when it is on. When I swich to horizon it falls back down to 10ma.

Yes, the starfield background (though really cool) is a battery hog.

I am quite surprised by your high power consumption. I also use the "starfield" background and have a 6 MA idle consumption...Maybe you have something else running in the background?...

Yes, i'm starting to think that it is the return of a bug which I haven't had for ages. Basically it's to do with meegotouchhome, which requires you to move an icon on the homescreen to bring the consumption back down.
