[SOLVED] Can't see saved pictures.
 

Hi friends,

i don't know exactly when this happened, maybe from a camera apps ( i installed panorama , kaleidoscope)

I can't save pictures from browser , email or mms, it say "picture saved" but i can't find it in the gallery or with filebox. If i try to save the pic two times, it says "name already exist, saved as nameofthepic-1".

I uninstall camera apps, and now the gallery don't update, it don't show last pics i took with the camera, but i see them in filebox.

Somebody know this problem ?
What can i do to update tracker or gallery ?

post me the output of as user in terminal:

Btw Panorama and Kaleidoscope don't have anything to do with it, it's just that the N9's tracker sucks..

you've found your culprit!

download and install: http://stwoowerks.cixx6.com/xtra/gal....0.1_armel.deb

before that navigate to /home/user/ and /home/ see if there are any .jpgs or .pngs there remove them from there by copying to another location then run the above...reboot after running it and open gallery up...it should refresh things in a few mins...

thank wook_sf for the .deb instead of me giving you the commands to do it manually...


Edit: to run the file you downloaded just type in terminal as user:

gallerybugx

then press Enter...

i have to remove pics from /home and /home/user/, then i lauch the program ?

wow, what a mess in my /home...

well, now the gallery just show vids from dcim, no pics.
i remove pics from /home, install gallerybugx, lauch it and reboot.
Did i miss something ?

Let it refresh for somewhile...give it a few mins then reboot then open again...tracker needs to work hard after all to find all the porn you've stored :p
