Its ALIVE!
After switching over to android for over a year, I've really missed my n900. I doubt anyone here remembers me, I was pretty quiet. Anyways, decided to pop open my n900 and see why it wouldn't turn on, and it had a loose ribbon which I reconnected. USB fell out a while ago, so I charged up a battery a put it in, and sadly, I remembered why I got a new phone. I had multiboot installed, and I have no OS on my phone... Here's a pic

Found this and it may be my only option... only problem is it's way too complicated for me to do on my own http://gumstix.org/create-a-bootable-microsd-card.html |

Re: Its ALIVE!
Hmm your thread title is misleading - it's not really alive, yet.
And I would go the way of trying to fix the USB port, that will get you closer to breathing new life into it |

Also, if anyone is willing to do that microsd boot method and send me the card, I'll pay for shipping and all that, and supply the card if you don't have one as well. |
