n9 with maemo os ?
 
Hi I'm proud owner of n900 and n9
I have question maybe its asked b4 but didn c it
Is it possible to dual boot n9 meego and memo is?
Technicly I don't know but coz I love memo I wish I could revive it on my n9 better hardware and faster CPU and ram.

Well, it's not impossible, you just need to know if it is worth doing it, depends on the members' votes, well, I think it's possible but decision goes back to the devs.

chrooting maemo as marmistrz suggested is the best way available for now...
please find the thread about chrooting maemo on harmattan using power search.

depends on how much it's worth... to you :D

joke apart, most ppl here are dreaming of a N950 like device, maybe with 64GB storage instead of the miserable 16, a mSDXC slot (for another 64GB ¦-)))))) and... that's pretty much it.

true, running Maemo with 1 GB of RAM will definitely make it snappier, but...

even if some drivers may still work, not all HW will be recognized and you will have to copy over or even recompile stuff from MeeGo :eek:
certainly not as tricky as NITDroid as the sources are much closer, but still... no MIC ?!? :rolleyes:
