ARM support improving in kernel 3.7
Next Linux kernel release supports more ARMs with less code
This looks promising, at least for Mer or ALARM et al. |
Re: ARM support improving in kernel 3.7
Linux getting arms?
Okay just need the legs and feet ! |
Re: ARM support improving in kernel 3.7
Finally, no more disparate core types having their own old trees.
linux-tegra, linux-omap and linux-qsd all in one tree. Brilliant. Now only if all the drivers and board configs were in mainline, all ARM devices could now have a kernel built straight from Mainline. |
Re: ARM support improving in kernel 3.7
...no more specialized kernels, no more ... no more thinking Kangal == Davie999.... oh wait...
Seriously, it really looks like a mess. |
Re: ARM support improving in kernel 3.7
You do know "Kangal" and "Davie999" are completely different users right?
We just see eye to eye on a lot of things. |
