N9 internet connection
 

Hi, i am new here and i am new with my N9.

I have a question about the internet conection.

When i turn off the internet conection every time i unlock my N9 ask me if i want to turn on the conection, i was happy with my Nokia 700 FP1, when i turn off the internet connection never ask it, even if whatsapp is running in background.

I install wlanscan and maybe is not working or is useless.

Someone know how to solve it?

wlanscan toggle works fine; however the icon and label might seem inverted to some users. Reboot the phone, tap it once - wait till it changes. Make sure the icon is greyed out and the label says WlanScan On.

If you installed Wazapp, running it in the background will ask for connection since the devs made it search for a network every 3 mins.

The best feature about Wazapp for N9 is the ability to "quit" the application, unlike any other phone. So, instead of swiping down to close it (which will keep it running in the background and keep asking for connection), press options in Wazapp, and select Quit.

you are right, i an user problem.

i quit wazapp and Meego no ask for internet connection any more.

If I may ask, what's the main function of the ToggleWlanScan App? Does it really stop the phone requesting internet connection when switched off?

It deactivates automatic WiFi scanning.
