N9 charging problems
 

Hi!
i got a little problem with my N9.
sometimes while charging, it just stops charging and displays a sign in the battery icon on the lock screen. when i disconnect the charger and reconnect it, it continues charging.
i have nitdroid installed and already did a reflash.
i hope somebody can help me

If the problem is still present after a reflash I'd say it's something with hardware. I dunno, maybe battery controllers are faulty?

well i dont know how to check the battery controller and since it continues charging after pluging it in again i dont know how the charger/controllers can be faulty... its just annoying because i cant charge my phone overnight anymore...

Have you tried connecting charger, turn off your phone and charge it while it's off?

That's what mine kept on doing before it eventually died, but mine had a loose USB port. SO I took it for repairs!

i hope the port isn't broken... it never showed any problems during file transfers. and somehow i don't want to reflash my phone since whatsapp is working for me for the first time :P
but i guess i have no choice if the port really is loose

check the connection to port as well as ensuring thru charger's wire is not bent... You just need to disconnect and reconnect the charger when the above happens...

P.S. you can use ScreenshotMee (a free app) to take screens of the LPS too ;)

it seems like the cable is broken or at least damaged. I changed the USB cable to the one that came with my N900 and it works just fine...
