the camera takes grainy pictures/videos is this normal
 
when i use the camera, i guess the lens doesnt even display a clear picture and when i record a film it looks like what appears to be film grain and its noticable in pictures that i take. is this normal

Does this happen all the time? What are the lighting conditions ?

This happens sometimes in pics taken in low lighting, but not in outdoor day shots. Changing exposure/ISO settings might help. (or cleaning the lens :) )

it was just the lightning conditions in my apartment. the video/pics are super crisp outside and everywhere else
