[H] update to 1.31 after cssu
 

so i just received a new n900 because my old one was broken. it started with 1.3, and there wasn t an upgrade to 1.31 available so i update the cssu right away.

but now if i want to install hildon desktop i get a notify: can t install (i forgot the real words^^)

i googled a lot and found out that that could be because i don t have 1.31

but now after the cssu update the 1.31 is not shown


how can i fix that?

Cssu contains the patches included in 1.3.1 so no need to install it after cssu.

Please open the problems tab when attempting to upgrade and paste the result here.

did you buy new or used N900 ?? where did u get it from ??
I thought this phone has been extinct

Probably the "Can't install, connect to PC Suite" thing as per the CSSU wiki page.

You will need to provide complete information, if you need further help.

PR1.3.1 security update is in CSSU so you will not see an update for it.

Please post the version information from [Settings > About Community SSU]

when trying to install modified hildon desktop 3.3 from the normal app manager:

"unable to install "modified hildon desktop" "


nokia sent me the n900 after my repair station told them they can t repair it anymore

you do not need modified hildon desktop if you have cssu installed. Please either provide the info from the 'Problems' page of HildonApplicationManager or via X-Terminal application - you need rootsh installed for that to work - the output of
