[URGENT ATTENTION REQUIRED] List Files not on maemo.org but on Nokia's Repos
Hi all,
A few minutes back ivgalvez, one of the Board of Directors (BoD) of the Hildon Foundation (the NFP tasked with maemo.org's future) has received a piece of good news; Nokia are going to fund us for buying the servers we will need to do the migration! Celebrations aside, he requires a list of files not already hosted at maemo.org that are needed to keep the devices working i.e. i.e. all packages at Nokia repositories, all files included in SDKs etc. These files will be temporarily hosted at Nokia so that the BoD can discuss with Nokia to transfer the rights for re-distribution to the NFP. So, please urgently list on this thread all the files you may think are not already on maemo.org but listed in Nokia's repos so that we can collate a list to the BoD. If you are unsure of any files that may be on maemo.org just list them below so that nothing is missed out. UPDATE: As per ivgalvez's instructions, a list has been drawn up with the sub-domains for each distribution. The full list can be downloaded in odt and pdf formats. Kindly check them thoroughly and verify if they are correct. The general source for them was this wiki page. ------------- 03/12: pali has mentioned the following are missing: http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/ http://harmattan-dev.nokia.com/d6.php I'll draw up an edited list at the end of the day to give time for any other missing repos/locations too. ------------- 05/12: Revision 2 dated 05-12-12 is now live. The full list can be downloaded in odt and pdf formats as usual. (Re-uploaded at 1914 GMT 04/12 adding post 41's contents) Since I'm not very familiar with the various Maemo iterations pre-Maemo 5 could someone be kind to check out thoroughly my modifications and if wrong just correct and upload a revised odt? I'll then accordingly update this post. Also please check if contents of tablets-dev.nokia.com are correctly reflected; I have omitted the SDKs as those are already on repo.maemo.org according to the Apt-Mirror wiki page ------------- 09/12: Revision 3 dated 09-12-12 is now live. Time of upload: 1730 GMT 08/12. The full list can be downloaded in odt and pdf formats as usual. Diff between Rev 2 and Rev 3 is the addition of Harmattan firmware files for the N9 with product codes taken from the list posted by brkn. Total number of product codes is 386. The list has been verified only by me so far. If there is any objections please mention them. |

The whole downloads.maemo.nokia.com repo and free apps from ovi store. These are backed up on maemo-archive.wedrop.it
harmattan-dev.nokia.com repo - this has no backup These are the most important |

Other repos, non-Nokia: marmistrz.net63.net // mine qole.org maemo.merlin1991.at But we don't have to worry about them, as they're not Nokia owned You may look at maemo-archive.wedrop.it whether something else is needed |
