Mysterious operator name

Hello all,

I have had no issues with my N9 since I got it over a year ago, but today a strange name appeared without my input in my operator logo. It should say AT&T, but now it says Dan. My name is not dan. I have not installed anything on this phone that would allow such a change other than HSS. I have never put anything into the custom operator logo name though. I removed HSS just in case, reboot, and still it remains. Anyone feel like giving me a few mins of their time and helping me figure out how this came to be and how to fix? Any info would be appreciated. I will reflash if I have to but I would rather not.

My wild guess is this "Dan" guy is a bored night operator at AT&T... I have seen night operators do stranger stuff with RAN NE's :D

Too much time on their hands and anyway they are of the mindset that if something goes awry they can always call up vendor L3 support

Yes home screen settings has an easy option for you to change to whatever name you want (symbols too can be copy-pasted)...

At&t issue went away this morning when I woke up. I did not need to replace my simcard like the others were suggesting. Thanks to all for any input
