GNU Tar?
Hiya
I was wondering how you guys got around the dependicies needed to install GNU tar on OS2007HE I was having the same problem (diff dependicies) on OS2006, I don't know what I did to fix it though  Anyhelp? And before you say use search function, I've done that with little success. Trawling through entire threads for obscure references in one or two posts aint fun  was up till 3 in the morning last night Although I did get loads of other useful info, nothing that could help however. EDIT: spelling |
Re: GNU Tar?
no, the "dependencies" are still there, however, just do an apt-get -d install tar and it will only download it... then you can just extract the binary from that.
