Pengpod: A 'true' linux tablet
Have you heard of it? Well, they've just reached their milestone and will start shipping their devices in 2013.
Will this finally be a 'true' brother to the N900? I hope so. What do you guys think? Anybody else excited? Sidenote: Seems like 2013 will be a linux year after all :D |

Re: Pengpod: A 'true' linux tablet
It reminds me of the hp touchpad (hardware) which allowed (and still do, still have one in a drawer) multi boot with linux distros and other tablet os's. This hardware is much better though, and manufactured by a company that devote itself into opensource products. May be the next hacker's tablet...
It's good to see such alternatives exist. Too bad all my mobile needs are met right now, cuz ~100€ for such a tablet is a steal imho! |
Re: Pengpod: A 'true' linux tablet
Why is the video so poor quality?
Is he using one of those tablets to record his (unpractised) presentation? Great specs and great price... I don't know why they didn't make attempt to wow people. |
It's probably a very, very small startup that aren't representers (steve jobs), meaning that they are just mainly unsociable people (no offense).
