Battery consumption

Does anyone know what is going on every 30sec. in idle state??

I removed all widgets, uninstalled all apps, reinstalled hildon-desktop and modest, all updates turned off...same again. This phone just can't live without reflashing.

most likely /usr/bin/Xorg -logfile /tmp/Xorg.....it pops up all the time on mine.

I'd start by running powertop for 2 minutes or so screen off.

Was stock kernel results you pasted done with screen on?

All processes together take about 1% of CPU and it's constant...no changes but battery consumption still jumps every 25-30sec.

It is all done with screen off and locked. Huge difference, ha?

I reflashed it. Now I installed CSSU Stable instead of Testing and this is the result:

Same thing. Just a few days ago it was fine...-9mA constantly.
I'll try with powertop and see what is going to happen.

Does anyone else have this kind of problem?

It will be very helpful if you post your powertop results.....

Re: Battery consumption

Looks very good
look at the c4 cycle its 4166ms means it sleeps for this much of time
everything is alright
how longer your battery lasts?

Re: Battery consumption

Thank you. Well..it used to last for 2-3 days, but since last week it hardly last for 1 day. That is why it bothers me so much.

¿Did you try to set conversation protocols to disconnect? (skype and such)
It makes a 3 to 1 diff. on battery life for me.

Also... ¿How do you got powertop running on N900? Cant find it with apt-get

It's in extras-devel repository.
Have you enabled it?
