Delayed sound on receiving call
In the last couple of days, I upgraded to the latest CSSU-Stable, as well as installed FrontCamera and FCamera apps. Is there any chance that any of these changes affected the phone app in a way that whenever I answer an incoming call, it takes 1-3 seconds before the calling party can actually hear me? (having to say hi/hello three times, that is... it used to be instantaneous, of course.)
Has anyone had similar problems with the phone app? |
Re: Delayed sound on receiving call
I get this problem with "custom ringtone for your contacts" after removing it the ringtone work normally

Re: Delayed sound on receiving call
I don't use custom ringtones anymore. Did it only affect the contacts where you had custom ringtones defined, or all of them?
I'll see if the problem persists after a week and/or a couple reboots/shutdowns. The new CSSU is really fast compared to the previous one, so this particular issue is kind of strange. |
Re: Delayed sound on receiving call
Bump... Just because it is an important issue for those who have the misfortune of encountering it.
Best wishes. _________________ Per aspera ad astra... |
Re: Delayed sound on receiving call
I doubt it's custom ringtones.
I have been using that for a while with no issues. Recaller IIRC was known to do things like you describe. |
Re: Delayed sound on receiving call
I've had Recaller since day one, and it did in fact sometimes cause issues such as ending calls slowly (or freezing the phone for a moment while ending calls), never at starting them. But that has luckily happened rarely, though.
