UKMP problem on OS2007HE
 

Hi,

I've just this evening upgraded my Nokia 770 to OS2007HE, and things are generally nice and shiny, but I'm having one or two problems - specifically with MPlayer and with UKMP (I don't know if these are related or not, so have posted about MPlayer in a seperate thread).

Essentially, if I try to run UKMP from the application menu, nothing happens. From the terminal, I get an error:

dsp_protocol_open_node(): Could not open pcm device file /dev/dsptask/pcm3
dsp_protocol_open_node(): Could not open pcm device file /dev/dsptask/pcm3
Fatal Python error: (pygame parachute) Segmentation Fault
Aborted

Is there any way to get this to work on OS2007HE?

Hi frosty and welcome to the forum!

Have you already noticed the Search option in here? It's on top part of this page, between the thread topic and the first post. It's a pretty nice option. For example, you can search with the keyword "pcm3" and choose Show posts. Then you can see instantly that there have been other people with the same problem before. And there is a solution for this.

Cool, isn't it? It is much faster to search for the answer than post a new thread (or two) and wait for somebody to answer. :)
