Default browser can't load site? Can you?
 

My N9's default browser will NOT Open this URL:

www.mediamatters.org

It just does nothing. Even if I Google it and click on the link that way. Opera has no problem. Any ideas?

Tested: My n9 just loads to a blank page too.
Tried on my PC and found that page is almost 70% high res .jpgs and thumbnails. They do have a mobile tab at the bottom of the page though (kinda useless if you can't view the page LOL)

For me the browser is one of the biggest let downs of the phone itself. I find the n9 does a rather P**s poor job when it comes to browsing the web, where too many sites either do not load their content or redirect you to a bloody mobile site. I can sympathise with you mate.

Thanks. It's probably some non-standard code, but I tried this on MicroB on the N900, a Playbook...no problems. So it's not that bad.

Lates opera on non cssu N900 works fine.. Maybe install opera on your N9?

Edit: that sites for libtarted wankers that want to f*€k the world harder for more $$$

I have Opera on both N9 and N900. Works well, if a battery drainer (never leave it running in background). I wanted to know if it was some weird thing on my phone only.

Having a similar problem trying to load this site on my N9 default browser here in Australia.

http://www.afl.com.au/

It refuses to load anything, just a blank page. Works fine on every other browser & device I own.

Is there any reason behind this?

there's audio playback on the site..maybe n9 cannot handle that
