Installing Maemo SDK with skeiron.org repos
Hi,
Is there any way to install the maemo-sdk packages with the skeiron repos? If it use e.g. deb http://skeiron.org/repo/repository.maemo.org/ fremantle/sdk free non-free the Release file is not found. The same goes with maemo-archive.wedrop.it Edit: It came out that it's just my scratchbox being offline :P |
Re: Installing Maemo SDK with skeiron.org repos
Should we be using those mirrors for this task? I am choosing to wait, as I think it's a bit unfair to hammer those servers installing the SDK stuff (along with the Nokia binaries and any additional packages you might need).

Re: Installing Maemo SDK with skeiron.org repos
I can't get sdk, tools, and Nokia Binaries on Skeiron's mirror to work on device because the Packages file is only available uncompressed and gzipped and not b2zipped. Is there a workaround? I use FAPman and the "original" sdk repository worked fine. I need to reinstall some tools like traceroute etc.
Do those repositories work in Appman and apt-get without the b2zipped Packages file? |
