Linux Mint, Mad Developer and scp
Hi,
I've installed Linux Mint 14. I was trying to Code:
scp -r * user@192.168.2.15:/home/webos/ But after sending a couple of files, I'm getting. Code:
Received disconnect from 192.168.2.15: 2: Corrupted MAC on input. Thanks |
Re: Linux Mint, Mad Developer and scp
Two possible questionable things:
First: Do you really have the destination folder? Really /home/webos/ ? Second: Is your USB port still in good condition? Mine isn't, so i use rsync for copying lots of files or folders to be able to pick up where the connection stalls or breaks. Example: rsync -P -r --rsh=ssh * user@192.168.2.15:/home/webos/ where the ssh option may not be needed for USB connection, but i wanted to reference to this option for internet usage as well . |
Re: Linux Mint, Mad Developer and scp
If you are using a desktop not server implementation then using the default file manager just click on connect to server; host address is 192.168.2.15 and via ssh and you get your phone mounted... Bookmark it with user and password saved so that next time you connect via USB, you can click on the connection and it opens up your phone's directories ;)

I just took another usb cable, and it seems that the one I got with N950 is faulty. Any way to warranty repair it? I got it from the Coding Competition.. edit: tbh, I used the fm approach until I found out how convenient scp is ;) |
