[request] application to change the color tint of the screen
so because blue light on screens affects sleep
http://www.youbeauty.com/health/colu...onin-and-sleep http://www.fitsugar.com/Better-Sleep...-Light-2037593 I decided to adjust the screen on my pc and android phone by adding a red filter on it at night https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...91cnNjcmVlbiJd and it did improve my sleep (not that I have bad imsomnia and sleep really late, but it is definitely more pleasing to the eye during the night). I was wondering if there was a way to do something like that on the n900? |

where I live it can get dark at 6pm, and adjusting the blue off these screens is much nicer mostly if it's only for reading or writing |
Re: [request] application to change the color tint of the screen
There is a thread that discussed changing the colour profile on Harmattan, it might be apllicable to Fremantle too:

I'm making the app for Harmattan but the same principle cannot be applied to Fremantle.
Find me a way to influence LCD light intensity and I'll make an app. :) |

A blank image (of any color you chose) that would fill the whole screen, and which you can adjust its transparency. e.g so the dashboard http://i.imgur.com/ick9gMg.jpg with this on top http://i.imgur.com/c78Mxn8.png at 70% transparency gives this: http://i.imgur.com/Vr5RYOd.png with mieru: http://i.imgur.com/doxXfMh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/S920doq.png EDIT: here's with a black image overlayed at 30% transparency http://i.imgur.com/u4rgbpJ.png (this can make it dimmer than n900's lowest brightness setting while still readable) It's basically how Screen Filter for android works (and why it doesn't require root) |
