My N9 may be corrupted, any suggestions?

About a week ago my camera would not start and i was constantly getting a 'camera not responding' message.

i did a hard reset through terminal and now things have gotten worse.
Here is a list of errors I am getting:
1 - notes will not save in note application.
2 - cannot down load email or mms attachments (seems like mime types are not associated anymore).
3 - email does not send.
4 - email does not receive on specified frequency (seems like it might retrieve once a day, and even forcing a refresh does not retrieve current emails). i removed qmf file already and that send to help for a brief period but not anymore.
5 - contacts not updating through online services (facebook, etc).
6 - camera worked for a few days but am now getting 'camera not responding' message again.
7 - my accuweather widget will not stay on.I uninstalled and tried to re-install and and i get an error that the package can't find dependencies.
8 - when i did a hard reset i lost all my contacts and messages.
9 - I can't save bookmarks to desktop.
10 - The desktop universal search does not work.

i don't have many apps installed and haven't downloaded anthing in quite a while. there may be more errors but i haven't seen them yet. any suggestions on how to restore device or find out what got corrupted and how to fix it? i can reflash but would rather not.

thanks

I'm interested in the hard reset you did via terminal and also whether your /home/user/ is mounted as userfs partition or not... maybe post the output of df -hm too...

i did a hard resest on tracker (tracker-control --hard-reset) in case there was corrupted file in there and also did a reset device through settings.

Now that is something you should not have done, at least before taking backups. Resetting tracker database wipes your contacts and messages. Furthermore, tracker has nothing to do with your camera problems so that was double unnecessary thing to do.

Sounds like corrupted mmc or firmware (not the device firmware - internal hardware firmware like gsm wifi controllers etc), are you capable of removing the battery (that would reset the hardware and load firmwares on boot)? If not a reflash might help as the device hardware gets reset during first boot after a flash. For mmc I have no clue what is available as I only did that with my n900... but checking the filesystem for errors and bad blocks would be my first thing to do.

for factory state reset do:

sudo flasher -f -F main.bin -F emmc.bin --erase-user-data=secure -R

Well I went out and bought another N9 after the one a had experienced the problems above. Figured something random must've caused these problems.

Now the one I just bought (only have had for 3 weeks) is doing the same thing. I haven't downloaded much, added a few songs and an email account and that is about it.

see you later nokia.

Now that's odd, are the symptoms exactly the same?
What's the PR level you are on?
What is your device variant?
Are you running open mode or closed mode?
Can you list all tweaks you have attempted?
Can you list all installed applications?

So far in the last week my emails stopped sending and receiving, my google calendar is not syncing, my camera does not work, i have to clear the web cache to view mms, accuweather will not stay running, and I cannot save bookmarks to desktop.

Also my music player is still updating my library (16GB) after about 3 weeks continuously running. I know this may be a file issue, but the same set of mp3 files run fine on my n900.

Pr 1.3 (40.2012.21-3_PR_006)

I have developer mode on so I can run terminal, but i haven't made any tweaks using command line.

Apps currently installed:
Stock apps that came with phone and here is list in 'manage applications' tab,
Accuweather
aegis-dev-mode
Angry Birds Free With Magic
AP Mobile
Decibel
developer-mode
devtools-utlities
Drive
Facebook
Filebox
FlashPlayer
freecell
Home Screen Settings
Maps
MeeGo Terminal
MeeIn
NokiaLink
Nokia Music
opeenssh-client
openssh-server
sdk-connectivity-tool
Store
The Flashlight
Twitter
User Guide
x11vnc

When I run camera-ui in terminal I get an error message about
MApplicationService registering failed.

I can't figure out what could've changed in the past week that would've caused the phone to experience the same problems as my last one. I haven't taken many pics, don't really use the email on it, and browse a bit each day. I've only downloaded a handful of apps and can't believe that any of them from Nokia Store would crash the phone.
