In this video, at 1:37, he pulls down anywhere on the screen, and it opens the pulley-menu.

The question / idea:
Dragging from an object, brings up that specific objects contextual pulley menu.

Eg,
Pulling down on a contacts number, your choices are:
Call
Sms
Change number
Delete

Clearly angling for the death of buttons, haha, but does anybody else feel this would be an amazing addition?

I wonder how the pulley menu works when you have an app open which needs scrolling. Are there any videos so far show this?

That would not be an issue as the pulley menu only works when your at the top of the page and try to scroll further up, same as in N9 when you scroll down to refresh/update on facebok/twitter/ect.

I would love to see toggles at the top of the feed screen, maybe show the same one from the setting ?

This will give us access to the switches from anywhere. awesome :)

nevermind... i lost it ;)
I think I meant for option to pick max 10 contacts as favourites.
Then in pulley menu, in contacts app, to have option (something like) "favourites", where those 10 will bee shown for quick access...

Somewhere along the UX guideline at SailfishOS.org, I think they talked about alternative ways to access the pulley menu besides the pull action. It can be access via a flick gesture and it will open the pulley menu like normal menu system for u to press.

But I could be mistaken

I think an alternative method of accessing the pulley menu might be necessary for really long pages/lists. Otherwise, scrolling all the way up to the top might negate its usefulness
