Re: Wirless Help
I get this when connecting to 'The Cloud' Wi-Fi service that seems to be available in lots of places, including my local bar. I can connect to it, but can't browse anything...the tablet tells me I have a local-link IP.
Your work network is probably tied down so people can't just tap into the signal. Do you have the right credentials to use it? |
Re: Wirless Help
Well I don't know as I was using it yesterday and it worked fine but today I get that.

Re: Wirless Help
That means only one think : they know what you are doing, they are watching you !!! run for your tablett !!!!:)

Re: Wirless Help
They could have blocked your MAC address or there's something interfering with the wi-fi signal itself, something using the same freq as the channel the wi-fi router/ap is on.
Quite frankly, if this is a wi-fi setup for internal use only and it's NOT requiring encrypted VPN with MAC-address filtering and username/password login via RADIUS on a WPA2-enabled access point or router then I would question the sanity and security credentials of your IT staff. |
