it is a big risk for jolla to release thier first phone with qwerty, qwerty is considered outdated nowsaday by many people.

their phone size is fine, they just need to get their bezel as small as possible.

we should have a petition for native skype and whatsapp when jolla phone launches on day one

The petition is not just about Jolla, but the smart phone industry in general.

But I agree at some point with your statement, however I really hope that we will see a keyboard cover.

i don't think companies will care about these petitions. there are already many petitions without any success.

so, that's an easy target for Jolla, isn't it?
design & integrate carefully a QWERTY other half...

in fact the (former) Communicator clientèle ((top) manager, road warriors aso.) who depend on their mobile device not to show off but to work may be an easy target, certainly in the BYOD / bring your own device age...

I signed the petition just for the heck of it.. But honestly I don't understand why people think that petitions can do anything...

people who think that market economy has anything to do with democracy :eek: :rolleyes:
well, if it rises enough attention, it may make manufacturers aware of a market opportunity, so even though nobody is ever going to bother about the petition itself, the "noise" about it may achieve something :p

This is not the other half keyboard. This is the real deal keyboard device.
