sqlite(3)
I know that sqlite has been ported to the N800, and in fact, runs fine. Does anybody know if any sort of front end has been written for entries/edit/search/etc.? Maybe in python?
One thing I always used when I had my Zaurus was Portabase. Unfortunately, the front end for that is written in QT3, so I doubt there'd be any chance of getting that ported (not to mention there has been no activity for 3 years on the program). R. == |
Re: sqlite(3)
The only one I personally know of is command line access from Xterm ie sqlite3 name.db

Man, I'd like to see that too. If anyone wanted to work on it, I'd gladly contribute funds.

I will gladly contribute too if it gets a Portabase type app on the N800.

Re: sqlite(3)
Well, actually, I think I may have found something, at least in the meantime, but it looks somewhat complicated.
I installed nginx http server and php5-fastcgi. I know that there are several php sqlite admin-type things out there, so I will give that a try. At least the web server pulls up basic page quickly. I'll post progress (if there is any :-)) R. == |
