how i see mac address?
 
hello all
i want to see other mac addresses connected with my brother's open wireless network.so how can i do it?
i can access his network on my pc and lovely n900 but i cant access to my bro's pc. thanks for your help

For the n9 is an entry at options>productinfo
Maybe for the its the same for the n900

Well, he wants to see OTHER mac addresses, not his own :)

So, the "brother's PC" acts as the wireless router, does it? If you cannot access that then you are out of luck, unless he has a "real" wlan AP (a wireless router for example) where you can login and see the connected clients.

Edit: Just for clarity...

You'll need to manually add the interface as a parameter, or arp-scan will throw you an error.

Code:

sudo arp-scan -l -I wlan0
Where the first hyphened character is a lowercase "L" and the latter a uppercase "i".

access to router for login? :| no way. i want to do it with my n900. my n900 is connected with AP but my bro change admin penal password
