Is it possible?: Bluetooth DUN + ICS + Ad Hoc Wifi
Here's an interesting question.
I have SONY PSP, Nokia 770, Verizon phone. From 770, I can BT DUN using Verizon phone so that I can surf the internet. My PSP has locationfree player, which means I can watch live TV and recorded TV using my locationfree base station at home. But PSP doesn't have BT DUN capability but has Wifi B. So it cannot connect directly using the phone. So I was wondering whether I can PSP - (wifi) - Nokia 770 - (BT DUN) - Verizon phone My question is 1. Does 770 share internet connection? 2. Is it possible to connect 770 and PSP via adhoc wifi mode? I believe it can but I'm not sure how. |
Re: Is it possible?: Bluetooth DUN + ICS + Ad Hoc Wifi
Hi AceGolfer,
I'm new here, and I'll do more research, but could you tell me how you were able to BT DUN using your Verizon phone? I can't get a connection to last more than 5 seconds once I pair my N800 and my Verizon. Did you do a hack with a modem script ? Thanks, WeatherGirl |

For BT DUN, your best bet is to research at howardforums.com. Depending on your phone, you may need to hack the phone.

Thanks AceGolfer for your reply. But, I ended up returning it. I tried to find some modem scripts, and went to HowardForums, I even went to Verizon to try tethering with another model and still no good. Too bad. I would have loved to have kept it.
